The BackBlast:

Intro:

The WoodstockRucks boys had no idea the pain YHC had planned. This one came right out of the mind of Bloodhound with a little improvisation.

Warm-o-Rama:

Long mosey up to ChatTech and down to the lower parking lot and back to the amphitheater to pick up the lovely coupons.

The Thang:

We took the coupons over to the edge of the grass where we could have the longest distance. Partnered up (gave the 2.0s the little 20lb GoRucks and told them to go wild!)

Round 1 – Partner Handoff

Partner 1 would hand off the sandbag to Partner 2 and then mosey behind them to receive the sandbag and so on and so forth. This continued all the way up the hill and back.

Took a lap around the amphitheater to rest the arms.

Round 2 – Partner Overhead Toss

Partner 1 would raise the sandbag over their head and drop it to Partner 2 who is standing behind them. This continued until the partners went up the hill and came back.

Took a lap around the amphitheater to rest their now trembling arms.

Round 3 – Partner Toss

Partner 1 would perform a ruck swing and toss the sandbag to Partner 2. This continued until the PAX reached the 2nd sidewalk and came back. We picked up a random civilian doing this one, haha.

Took a lap around the amphitheater to rest the arm yet again.

With 15 minutes left we had just enough time for Round 4.

Round 4 – Partner Oblique Toss

Partner 1 tossed the sandbag around the right side to Partner 2 who caught it. Partner 2 tossed around the right side to Partner 1. Partner 1 tossed the sandbag around the left side to Partner 2 and then Partner 2 tossed the sandbag around the left side to Partner 1. This was repeated until the PAX reached the 2nd sidewalk and came back.

Finished with a few minutes to spare and we closed out the morning with some Ring of Fire Mary exercises.

Name-0-rama, 6th Man (Biebs), Praises, and Prayer Requests

Naked Man Moleskin:

Biebs put out some really great information about being a temporary foster parent for those that are interested. The WoodstockRucks group is a solid group of guys and they all pushed it hard this morning. Strength training and rucking is a deadly combination and I was glad I got the opportunity to Q here.

The 2.0s absolutely crushed it this morning too. Every time we looked over they were rucking with their packs and those 20 lb sandbags back and forth. Awesome future generation of ruckers in the works.

Thank you men for entertaining me and I look forward to my next visit. I’m starting to refer to this location as Good Luck Rucks since I snagged the MVP at League today based on how loose I was after this morning. I might make this a regular thing!
